1535 nm Long-Range LiDAR
The Zenmuse L3 features DJI's first 1535 nm Class 1 eye-safe LiDAR, delivering exceptional long-range performance with detection distances of up to 950 m at 10% reflectivity and 2,000 m at 80% reflectivity. The narrower 0.25 mrad beam divergence enables highly detailed point cloud acquisition from greater altitudes.
Adjustable Pulse Rate up to 2 Million Points per Second
Supporting pulse frequencies from 100 kHz to 2 MHz, the Zenmuse L3 adapts to different surveying requirements. It captures up to 2 million points per second with as many as 16 returns, providing exceptional point density and vegetation penetration for complex terrain mapping.
Dual 100 MP RGB Mapping Cameras
Two 100 MP Micro Four Thirds cameras with a combined 107° horizontal field of view capture ultra-high-resolution imagery alongside LiDAR data. The mechanical shutters are rated for 500,000 cycles, ensuring reliable performance for professional aerial mapping missions.
Survey-Grade Accuracy
Delivers outstanding mapping precision with point cloud accuracy of 3 cm vertical and 4 cm horizontal RMSE at 120 m, while supporting mapping projects up to 1:500 scale. Ranging accuracy reaches ±10 mm with repeatability better than 5 mm.
Large-Area Mapping Efficiency
Capable of surveying up to 10 km² per flight and as much as 100 km² per day when paired with the DJI Matrice 400. Simultaneous LiDAR and RGB capture enables the generation of DOM, DEM, and colorized point clouds from a single flight.
Multiple Scanning Modes
Supports Linear, Star-Shaped, and Non-Repetitive scanning modes, allowing users to optimize point cloud quality and coverage for corridor mapping, infrastructure inspection, forestry, and large-scale surveying.
Exclusive Matrice 400 Compatibility
Designed exclusively for the DJI Matrice 400, the Zenmuse L3 utilizes a dedicated single-gimbal connector that provides up to 100 W of power and high-speed data transmission for professional mapping operations.
