DJI Matrice 4 Series Release Notes

According to DJI, the latest firmware as of 08, Jan 2025 for the Matrice 4 Series is as follows:

The new support features added in the DJI Matrice 4 Series:

• Added support for offline map return to home.
• Added quality report for photogrammetry flight tasks, allowing on-site task quality feedback to improve efficiency.
• Added support for remote control in DJI FlightHub 2, allowing simultaneous control of flight attitude and gimbal camera, as well as remote takeoff and landing, intelligent flight modes, and multiple flight route
planning features such as Smart 3D Capture, geometric route, and slope route.
• Added support to import third-party algorithm models to expand AI-based detection scenarios and view
detected subjects during playback.
• Added support for D-RTK 3 Multifunctional Station to use Base Station calibration and Relay Station functions.
• Optimized Smart Oblique for Ortho Collection.
• Added switch to enable or disable Spotlight Follow Camera, allowing the spotlight to operate independently. This function supports setting remote controller shortcut keys.
• Added Wide FOV Lighting for the spotlight, providing a broader coverage area.
• Optimized the speaker’s echo suppression effect of real-time broadcasting at close range.

Notes:
• Make sure the aircraft and remote controller are fully charged before updating the firmware. Restart the aircraft and remote controller after the update is complete.
• If the update fails, restart the aircraft, restart the remote controller, restart DJI Pilot 2 or DJI Assistant 2 (Enterprise Series), and retry.
• Make sure the firmware of the aircraft, the remote controller, and DJI Pilot 2 are the latest versions.
Otherwise, usage may be affected.
