Mini 4K -The upcoming new Nano Drone
DJI is about to launch its most affordable 4K camera drone this year. Yes, DJI Mini 4K is next in the line replacing Mini with most features borrowed from its predecessor Mini 2. Pricing is expected to be much lesser than the original version, Mini. The DJI Mini 4K is a ultra-lightweight drone weighing just 246 grams. This is the first drone from DJI with just 246g, 3g lesser than its counterparts. It features a foldable design for easy portability and is equipped with a Downward Vision System and Infrared Sensing System, enabling stable indoor and outdoor flights.
With a maximum flight speed of 57.6 km/h (in sport mode) and a flight time of up to 31 minutes, the DJI Mini 4K offers impressive performance in a small package. The Drone is expected to be compatible with N1 remote controller. DJI Fly app has already updated with DJI Mini 4K update. DJI Fly app is compatible with both Android and iOS devices.
The DJI Mini 4K includes intelligent flight modes and safety features like Automatic Return to Home (RTH) and flight limits to ensure a secure flying experience. Downward sensor is capable of sensing 0.5m to 10 meters in altitude and its operational range is up to 30 meters.
DJI Mini 4K is equipped with a 3-axis gimbal and a 1/2.3” CMOS sensor camera. The aperture of the camera is F2.8 and can shoot at 1m to infinity. The camera is capable of shooting 4K video and capturing 12MP photos and supports up to 4x digital zoom. You can expect the same Quickshot video modes as in previous models: Dronie, Rocket, Helix, Circle, and Boomerang. The Intelligent flight Battery is a 7.7V, 2250mAh, with smart charging functionality, same as Mini 2.
